Wellness coaching on nutrition, movement, sleep and stress
Weight, metabolic and hormone health
Weight is connected to blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and more, and it is shaped by hormones, appetite signals, genetics and metabolism, not just willpower. As an internist, Dr. Boican looks at the whole picture. When it is appropriate for you, your plan may include FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, started at a low dose and monitored at regular follow-ups.
For women, perimenopause and menopause can bring hot flashes, poor sleep, brain fog, low energy and mood changes that are often dismissed as "just aging." Dr. Boican evaluates these symptoms with lab work and your full health history, and discusses whether hormone therapy is a safe option for you.
Wellness coaching
Ongoing, physician-guided support around the daily habits - nutrition, movement, sleep and stress - that determine how well any treatment plan actually works. Coaching is personalized to your health history and coordinated with your primary care, not a generic program.
Membership pricing
Membership is $150 per month and covers the primary care services described in your membership agreement. Medications, outside lab and imaging fees, and aesthetic treatments are priced separately. SculptMaxx MD does not bill insurance for membership services. Membership is not health insurance.

Membership FAQs
Is membership health insurance?
No. Membership is a direct agreement between you and SculptMaxx MD for the primary care services it describes. It is not health insurance, and it does not meet the Affordable Care Act's coverage requirement, so most members keep a health insurance plan as well.
Can I keep my insurance?
Yes. Many members keep their insurance for hospital care, specialists, imaging, labs ordered outside the practice and prescriptions. SculptMaxx MD does not bill insurance for membership services.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Membership is a written agreement that either you or the practice can end with 30 days' written notice.
What if I need care after hours?
Members can reach Dr. Boican directly by phone or secure message, with same- or next-day responses. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
