PDRN skin treatments in Sarasota
PDRN, often called "salmon DNA," became popular in Korean skin care, where it is known for giving skin a hydrated, healthy glow. At SculptMaxx MD, PDRN is offered as a physician-supervised cosmetic skin treatment for a fresher, smoother-looking complexion.

What is PDRN?
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide, purified DNA fragments usually sourced from salmon. In skin care, PDRN is used to support hydration and the look of healthy, resilient skin.
At our office, Préime DermaCeuticals PDRN Booster is applied as a topical serum during a professional microneedling treatment.

Aftercare. Gentle skin care and sunscreen.
Series. Results build over a short series of sessions spaced six weeks apart. Three sessions are often needed for maximal benefit. Many patients pair this treatment with neurotoxin injections.
Pricing

What that means for you:
A medical history that is actually read and understood. Medications, conditions and past reactions are reviewed before any treatment, the way a physician would in any other setting.
Genuine, traceable products. Treatments use products from authorized distributors, with lot numbers recorded in your chart.
Natural, conservative results. The goal is to look like yourself on a good day. Dr. Boican would rather add a little at a follow-up than overdo it.
Whole-person care. As an internist, Dr. Boican looks at how skin, weight, hormones and energy connect, not just one concern in isolation.
Local and personal. SculptMaxx MD is a physician-owned practice at 1058 N Tamiami Trail, Suite 122, Sarasota, FL 34236. You see the same doctor at every visit.
Advanced aesthetic training. Dr. Boican has completed specialized training in botulinum toxin and dermal filler injection (Aesthetic Medical Educators Training, Inc.), Dermapen 4™ microneedling (DP Derm), and Sculptra® & Radiesse® (Empire Medical Training).
PDRN FAQs
Is PDRN FDA-approved?
No PDRN product is FDA-approved as a drug. Topical PDRN skin-care products are sold in the U.S. as cosmetics. At SculptMaxx MD it is used as a topical cosmetic treatment.
Can I have it if I am allergic to fish?
Tell us about any fish or seafood allergy. PDRN may not be suitable for you.
Is it painful?
The serum itself is not. Microneedling is done after a numbing cream, and most patients feel only mild pressure or a light scratching sensation.
When will I see results?
Many patients see a hydrated glow within days, with more improvement over a series.
